REASONS2REMAIN - TIME TO STOP BREXIT? A Talk by Award Winning Investigative Reporter JON DANZIG

Hosted by Stratford-on-Avon For Europe - Stratford4Europe.org.uk

ABOUT THE EVENT

Jon Danzig believes that all the evidence is stacking up against Brexit and that Theresa May, or whoever jockeys to replace her, certainly has no mandate for the extreme Brexit the the hard-liners in her cabinet seem intent on pursuing. With the clock ticking down on Britain’s exit from the European Union, Jon Danzig believes there is is still a good chance that we will remain in the EU if enough people across the country can be mobilised to demand a rethink. The risks are high though; once we are out of the EU the chances are we won’t be returning. Jon Danzig will be arguing that it’s time we let parliament know what Britain really thinks.

ABOUT JON DANZIG

Jon Danzig is an award winning investigative journalist who is currently running the grassroots Facebook campaign ‘Reasons2Remain’ dedicated to keeping Britain in the EU.

He has many years experience in the world of writing, broadcasting, magazine editing, photography and film making. He is probably best known for his investigative journalistic work on BBC Radio 4 with consumer champion Roger Cook. In the USA he was a freelance foreign correspondent writing for the British Press and for many years he ran his own successful video production company, ‘Look-Hear’, and produced over 100 short films.

He has had numerous editorial roles including editing the New Internationalist magazine as well as a United Nations newspaper about the world's problems called, 'Yes But What Can I Do?' His articles continue to be published by a wide range of newspapers and magazines, including The Guardian, The Independent, the Daily Mirror and the British Medical Journal. ABOUT STRATFORD4EUROPE

Stratford-on-Avon for Europe, or Stratford4Europe for short, is a local, cross-party, grass-roots organisation campaigning for Britain to play a leading role within a strong and united European Union.

Stratford4Europe is campaigning to make the positive case for the European Union in order to show, through the use of fair and honest argument, what leaving the EU will really mean for the people of Britain in terms of both our economy and national security.

Stratford4Europe consists of a Steering Group, which is always open to new members, as well as a rapidly growing supporter base. We have a wide range of ages and backgrounds but share in common the fact that we are all citizens with a deep concern that the future of this country will be severely damaged by it leaving the EU.
