Light Up a Life

Every December The Shakespeare Hospice holds a Light Up a Life campaign, giving families and friends the chance to remember the lives of their loved ones.

Christmas is a time of happiness and togetherness, but for many it is also a time when they remember someone they have lost.

Every year The Shakespeare Hospice invites supporters and local people to dedicate a light in honour of a cherished friends, family member, or colleague. Their light will shine bright on the Christmas tree in the centre of Stratford upon Avon and on the tree at the Hospice.

The money raised from the dedications will go towards funding the Hospice at Home Nurses for the month of December. Shakespeare Hospice Nurses are out in the community 24/7, 365 days a year delivering some of the most difficult care to people who have chosen to spend what little time they have in their own homes, surrounded by people they love.
