"The Stratford and Moreton Tramwayy" - An Illustrated Talk by Roger Cragg
The tramway was the first railway to be constructed in this area. It carried goods between Stratford and Moreton in Marsh, with the stretch from Shipston to Moreton being converted to a standard gauge railway.
Parts of it still remain, most notably the bridge across the Avon which is now used a s footbridge linking the park to Bancroft Gardens.
