REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY. On Sunday 9th November the Alcester Branch of The Royal British Legion will be hosting the towns Parade and Church Service. Those that would like to take part in the parade are asked to meet in Bleachfield Street at 10.20am, ready for the Parade to march to St Nicholas Church for the 11am outdoor service and Wreath laying. There will be an indoor service, followed by a further parade to Henley Street.
The RBL invites ALL ex-service people, veterans, serving members of HM Forces, local organisations, especially youth groups to join them on the day. Wreaths and further informationare available from the Poppy Appeal Organiser - David Malin on 01789 400427.
