A Walking World
Roger Noyce is an Author of Walks Guides and a member of the Outdoor Writers Guild. He has some 18 walks publications/walks guides published in the Cotswolds, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands. A further new book appeared in the shops in May 2006 titled:
Pocket Pub Walks Staffordshire
Each month one of his walks appears in the Focus Magazine of the Stratford Herald. Roger has recently worked with Advantage Alcester and Alcester Civic Society in the production of four walks leaflets for the town which are now available in the town:
- Arrow Valley Walk - 4 or 6 miles
- Alcester Heath & Coughton Court Walk - 7.25 miles
- Great Alne & the Villages Walk - 6.5 miles
- Oversley Green Walk - 1.5 or 5 miles
An active member of Stratford Ramblers, Roger also provides regular articles for Country Walking Magazine. Keen photographers, Roger and his wife Margaret have travelled to many interesting areas of the World including the Himalayas, the Alps, the Pyrenees, the Cevennes, the Picos Mountains, the Far East and South America.
